Suzanne Fishman
Suzanne is a mother to 5, stepmother to 7 and nana to 12 grandchildren. Suzanne has a social work degree and worked with families of children with special needs for over 10 years. 5 years ago she decided that she wanted to extend her experience working with families and utilize her social work education to start at the beginning - at birth. She is able to use her own personal birthing experiences as well as her birth education to enpower woman to achieve the kind of birth they want and deserve. Suzanne loves spending time with her family, enjoys exploring Israel and reading when time allows. As a certified doula through DONA, Suzanne has taken the time to learn proper skills and educate herself to be an advocate for her families throughout pregnancy, labor and the postpartum period. She continues to advance her learning which includes courses in Hypnobirthing and Spinning Babies and is constantly adding to her knowledge base. She offers in person labor support in both home births and hospital settings as well as in person postpartum support. In addition, Suzanne is available for in person childbirth education throughout Israel as well as virtual education worldwide. Suzanne is passionate about being a doula and has found her lifes work.

Free Consultation
One hour free consultation to ensure we are a good match! This is important for the ultimate success of a positive birth experience.
On Call
I will be available via phone, text, and email for 6 weeks postpartum to answer any questions, concerns, or just chat :)
Home Visits
1-2 home visits prior to birth as needed to discuss past birth experiences, birth plan, and expectations for this pregnancy.
During Birth
I will be by your side from the time labor is established until 1 hour after birth, to ensure you and the baby are stable, and you have established breastfeeding if doing so.
Here Throughout
I will be on call 24 hours a day for 2 weeks prior to and after the due date. We can discuss preterm labor and evaluate whether I will be available or help find and alternate plan.
ADDITIONAL SERVICES
One on one and group childbirth education classes offered. Classes are customized for your needs, be that for first time moms or those with previous childbirth experience. Can be done in person or remote. Reach out for more details.
